Paradox Spaces

In this collection we explore vibrant spaces where the concepts of above, below, near and far lose meaning, and our perception of reality is challenged around every corner.

A collaboration between Engineering and Arts

In collaboration with Paul Weber from whywedo., we are working on an interactive version of this paradox.

The prototype to the right shows our Android App where the impossible cube adapts according to the orientation of the phone, relative to the viewer.

Animated Paradoxes

To create this collection I made the strongest use of mathematics from my entire series up to this point, allowing me to take it one step further and develop animated versions of the paradoxes.

See what impossible figures look like from every angle, with these counterintuitive animations.

What is Up and Down?

Experimental animation with a figure of contradicting orientations.
